CO2 resurfacing is a laser-based skin rejuvenation treatment that uses concentrated laser energy to support the skin’s natural healing and renewal process. The goal is healthier-looking, smoother, more radiant skin over time.
During treatment, laser energy is directed to the desired area and absorbed as heat in the skin’s deeper structures. This triggers the body’s natural repair response—bringing blood flow and nutrients to the area and supporting collagen renewal and the formation of newer, healthier skin cells.
CO2 resurfacing may help improve the appearance of:

CO2 resurfacing can be used on multiple areas, depending on your goals—including the neck, chest, back, arms, and hands (and other areas as recommended by your provider).
Treatment time and comfort level vary based on the size of the area and the depth of resurfacing needed. The procedure can feel slightly uncomfortable, but your provider can take steps before and during treatment to help keep you comfortable.
Downtime varies by the treatment area and how deeply the laser is used. Your provider will review what to expect for your specific plan, including typical recovery milestones and aftercare guidelines before you schedule.
